NDT Inspector (m/w/d)

Testia Hamburg is a key location for our company and serves as a central hub for our aerospace services. The focus here lies on supporting major clients such as Airbus, while also collaborating with small and medium-sized enterprises in the region.

The main activities at the Hamburg site include:

• Inspection and testing methods: Developing and applying state-of-the-art quality assurance techniques.
• Knowledge transfer: Providing expertise in non-destructive testing (NDT) and other innovative technologies through our in-house academy.

Hamburg is not only strategically important due to its proximity to Airbus but also serves as a hub where highly skilled teams work together to actively shape the future of aerospace.

Your Tasks and Goals:

• Documentation and evaluation of test results as a basis for test reports.
• Carrying out non-destructive materials testing (NDT) in the following test methods:
• Level 2 ultrasonic testing according to EN 4179 / NAS410
• Level 2 eddy current test according to EN 4179 / NAS410 
• Level 2 X-ray testing according to EN 4179 / NAS410

Your Expertise

• Completed qualification as a materials tester in non-destructive materials testing according to EN4179/NAS410 in the procedures, ultrasound, eddy current or X-ray testing.
• At least one of the test procedures mentioned is required
• Proof of experience periods in accordance with EN 4179 required per procedure
• Systematic, careful and independent way of working
• Teamwork, resilience, flexibility
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Advanced knowledge of German, intermediate in English
