Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Software Development Integration Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of A400M for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

• Definition and execution of complex test scenarios and formal acceptance tests for the validation/verification of the developed embedded software
• Defining and supporting the SW development and SW test in collaboration with the associated Lab Environment
• Support the development and certification activities for the embedded software of A400M Mission
• Military systems including the testing evidences and its documentation
• Support the workload estimation exercises for the future software developments (concept, specification, work package)
• Support the planning activities and participation on the preparation of the relevant SOIs (Stages of Involvement) and Quality gates

Your profile:

• Completed studies in computer science or comparable
• Professional work experience in the field of IT / information systems
• Experience working with RTOS and avionics SW Certification processes (i.e. DO-178B/C)
• Knowledge in aerospace technologies such as MILBUS 1553, ARINC 661 or AFDX, and working with real-time Operating Systems like Green Hills Integrity is a plus
• Good Experience in SW Testing (including HIL, SIL, requirements validation, real-time testing on target, etc.) and/or SW development
• Confident handling of C, C
• Skill in Python and UML
• AGILE methods and tools awareness
• Fluent Englisch spoken and written
