As Developer Embedded Linux you will developing and maintaining Embedded Software for ARM/Linux platforms and systems in a client-server. You will collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware components.

As an Developer Embedded Linux, you will be responsible for:

• Designing & implementation of embedded software for ultrasonic inspection devices based on TCP/IP for embedded Linux systems
• Implementing of user- and kernel space modules for hardware interaction including DMA drivers and Shared memory modules
• Designing and Implementing of result-data-servers with special focus to maximum data throughput
• Handling the interacting with common interfaces like I2C, Ethernet, WLAN, UART.
• Designing of efficient software and hardware interfaces using DMA transfers and kernel-mode drivers.
• Debugging, problem-solving and troubleshooting of embedded systems
• Releasing software including new features and bug fixes
• Participating in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have successfully completed your studies in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
• Have significant experience in Software Development
• Be familiar with C/C++ as well as common scripting languages programming (Python, Lua, Bash)
• Be familiar with software version control systems (git)
• Be self-contained, self-motivated, and have a structured approach to work
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication in English
