Task and responsibilities:

You monitor the requests of Blades & Vanes installations for our Gas Turbine fleet through daily contacts with the Fleet Management and provide technical assessments that contribute to a safe and reliable Gas Turbine operation:

• Create technical documents and feed technical data into databases to communicate Engineering instructions to our partner organizations
• Analyze technical documentation such as reports, drawings, models or pictures of findings
• Monitor the operation and findings of our Gas Turbines Blades & Vanes and provide condition-based technical assessments
• Feed fleet observations into databases and find out statistically relevant findings

Knowledge:

• Education: Engineering degree, preferably in Turbomachinery, Mechanical, Aviation, or Materials
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Design, Testing or Service of Power Plant components is preferred
• Solid understanding of Gas Turbines operation and the design varieties of Turbine Blades & Vanes in operation
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., NX, AutoCAD, or similar) and SAP is highly desirable
• Further Software skills in Computational Fluid Dynamics or Finite Element would be a welcome additional qualification
• Language Skills: Fluent in both English and German, written and spoken
