Lab Assistant (m/f/d)

  Your Duties:

• Following an initial training period, you will work self-reliant and in cooperation with the team on the entire process from the design of the expression construct to the transfer of the purified, labeled and evaluated protein to the customer

• You will employ small-scale htp systems such as the Bio & Robolector technology, Kingfisher,HPLC, activity tests and masspec to generate data and guide successful upscaling strategies

• You will develop lab-scale fermentation (USP) and purification protocols (DSP)

• You will continuously optimize and maintain a state of the art technology and infrastructure

• Presentations and discussions of your results within the team, department and with the customer will round off your projects

Your Qualifications:

• Successfully completed Master's degree (Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related fields; substantial experience in the expression, purification, and analysis of proteins)
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken 
• Strong proficiency in scientific data analysis software
• Expertise in recombinant protein expression in E. coli
