MAINTENANCE PROGRAM ENGINEER (D/M/F)

Your tasks:

  • Collaboration in support and service to develop an effective maintenance concept and define logistical baseline information (maintainability, reliability, and testability) to reduce the aircraft’s life cycle costs
  • Collaboration with design departments and other logistics disciplines
  • Coordination of the various Maintenance Program Engineer (MPE) disciplines to define the maintenance and repair concept and deliver it to the customer on time, on budget, and in high quality
  • Participation in ensuring consistency between the MPE disciplines
  • Execution, coordination, and documentation of technical and logistical analyses
  • Review of design changes, drawings, and documentation, and coordination of necessary modifications
  • Contribution to the improvement of the maintenance concept with the goal of meeting military customer requirements
  • Preparation of required documentation and presentation of work results

Your qualifications:

  • The job requires knowledge and skills typically acquired through a relevant, completed degree program with a standard duration of up to 4 years in the fields of aerospace engineering, engineering, business administration, or comparable courses of study, along with related subject-specific additional qualifications — or alternatively, a completed vocational training with particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualifications. The overall required knowledge and experience may also have been acquired in other ways.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
  • Engineering experience and a strong technical background in aircraft
  • Basic knowledge in Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and its standards (e.g., MIL-STD-1388-2B or S3000L) and related analyses (LORA, MTI, MTA, etc.) is advantageous
  • Knowledge of military operational procedures is beneficial
  • Ideally, familiarity with other standards (S1000D, S2000M) and the helicopter’s technical manuals
  • Solid IT skills
  • Team spirit and customer orientation
  • Independent working style and strong communication skills in a complex environment
  • Fluent in English and German; French is a plus
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
