Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Materials Processes Engineer (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

- Development of functional materials and associated manufacturing processes
- Support to workpackages in the area of FCAS and internal development projects
- Support to national and international RT projects
- Deliver material solutions including associated data to other airframe disciplines
- Develop eco-efficient materials and processes to comply with EHS regulations such as REACh
- Creation and harmonization of material and process specifications
- Definition of material and manufacturing process selection lists based on program requirements
- Definition, coordination and execution of material, process or part specific qualification campaigns
- MP support to other engineering and manufacturing disciplines
- MP support to supplier audits, quality escapes or obsolescences
- Support in supplier development in the area of structural and non-structural polymers
- Ensure appropriate documentation and reporting

Your profile:

- Completed studies in aerospace, mechanical engineering, composite materials / composites or comparable
- Work experience in the aerospace industry and in laboratory environment
- Basic knowledge in the area of aircraft design and associated
- Experience in definition and execution of test programs including coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- First experience with environmental regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of work package management and reporting
- Confident handling of MS-Office
- Knowledge of CAD
- Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
