Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Project and Software Engineer (m/f/d) for our client KID-Systeme / Airbus in Buxtehude.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensuring the project meets its objectives related to time, cost, and quality, while satisfying customer expectations and complying with all relevant regulations
• Defining, implementing, and leading a cross-functional engineering project team throughout all project phases
• Overseeing the delivery of solutions to customers (Airlines) according to contractual agreements
• Reviewing and approving the architecture, technical data, and assessments to ensure a sound engineering approach
• Coordinating effectively with suppliers and partners to ensure smooth collaboration and integration
• Incorporating lessons learned from past projects to enhance future project execution
• Identifying risks and opportunities while actively managing contracts to avoid issues and optimize outcomes
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders to ensure alignment

Your profile:

• Completed studies in computer science, engineering, business informatics or comparable
• Work experience in IT/information systems, product development and project management
• Basic knowledge of change and process management
• Confident handling of MORE (Airbus-specific tool)
• Relevant experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK DevOps, microservices, AWS, Azure
• Fluent English and good German, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel (approximately 4 times per year, mainly within Europe)
