R&D Scientist Chemistry (m/w/d)

With our location in Espelkamp, we successfully combine product-related research, development and production up to market establishment.

Your role
•Definition, planning and development of electrochemical sensors from conception to optimization of existing sensor technologies within innoMe´s portfolio
•Identifying types of approaches to be used and contribute to sensor design, working closely with our sensor design engineers
•Responsibility for defining input materials, possible synthetic and manufacturing approaches as well as close cooperation with pastes and ink manufactures.
•Participation in the production of prototype sensors and their scale-up, this includes testing and optimisation, e.g. usind electrochemical analysis methods or materials characterisation methods (such as SEM)
•Responsibility for documentation of experimental, testing and manufacturing steps, and if necessary, compliance with regulations in cooperation witth partners

Your profile
•PhD or a master´s degree with several years industrial experience in chemistry, materials science, or physics
•Very good understanding in electrochemistry and experience in the field of materials and formulation of electrode materials or electrochemical sensors
•Experience applying electrochemical methods, whether in basic research, sensing, battery/fuel cell research, or similar
•Experience in using or investigating results of materials characterization techniques (e.g., SEM) and experience with printed electronics and electrochemical sensors and synthesis and characterization of electrodes desirable.
•Interest in solving complex problems and finding innovative and scalable solutions.
