Your prospective job:

You are acting as a Systems Engineer Eurofighter Avionics (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities:

• Review and refine requirements from System/ Subsystem Level

• Write Requirements for AC SW

• Generate implementation concepts of Sensor Functions and Stores

• Develop functional prototypes of sophisticated algorithms in the area of Air to Surface Weapons

• Support System Hazard Assessements

• Prepare and generate a LRI Processing Specification (LPS)

• Optimize design with regard to operational requirements

• Support definition of platform overarching sensor Management

• Travel to customer and partner companies to discuss concepts and requirements

Your profile:

• Completed studies in engineering, aerospace or comparable

• First work experience in aerospace and engineering

• Understanding about work processes in Military environment and about System and Software development in aircrafts

• Good knowledge of Air to Surface weapon functions (including Simulation)

• Knowledge about Eurofighter Weapon System

• Understanding about certification of flying Systems

• Knowledge about System (SW) Engineering Standardslike ARP 4754a, Incose, Do178c and Requirements Management or Requirements Based Engineering (RBE) and Analysis

• Knowledge about Eurofighter Avionics System and operational use cases for sensor use and weapon employment

• Good knowledge of processes and tools (DOORS, Statemate)

• Fluent English and good German, both spoken and written
