Task and responsibilities:

- Collaboration in the execution and documentation of Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT) of C&P hardware and software including customer acceptance tests in our test center in Germany
- Responsibility for planning, execution and evaluation of workshop tests of C&P hardware at subcontractors (acceptance tests)
- Responsibility for the creation and implementation of test procedures for the AC Protection and Open Loop Control systems
- Responsibility for the technically flawless, punctual and economical handling of the commissioning of HVDC systems on site (worldwide)
- Coordination and monitoring of schedule and progress for own work area
- Supporting the management in quality, risk and claim management
- Participation in improvement programs (e.g. lean, reviews and lessons learned)

Knowledge:

- Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or a comparable field of study or completed further training as a technician (f/m/d)
- Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Mains protection systems/ protection relays & BCU (DIGSI / Siprotec V4/5); testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC
- Knowledge of or ideally professional experience in the field of electrical power supply and commissioning of electrical systems or HVDC systems
- Knowledge of current and voltage transformers and other primary components
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Mobility/willingness for business trips and predominantly long-term assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad and optionally on offshore platforms
