Task and responsibilities:

• Project engineer in the field of HVDC control technology for the SCADA components
• Creation and maintenance of the HMI, specifications and manuals
• Clarification of signal lists with in-house stakeholders as well as external customers and suppliers
• Maintenance of the central control technology - signal database (signal switching)
• System integration and commissioning of the various components in the test setup at the Erlangen and Forchheim sites; ensuring error-free display and communication between the components, including signalling tests
• Carrying out/supporting acceptance tests with suppliers and customers
• Technical support during commissioning
• Mobile working is only possible to a limited extent and always requires individual agreement

Knowledge:

• Completed studies (Bachelor's, Master's) in electrical engineering / automation technology / computer science
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in the field of control technology for power transmission systems
• In-depth understanding of WinCC OA
• Experience in project management, customer clarifications and working in complex teams
• Knowledge of control system integration of auxiliary systems, process/signal data processing, signal switching, as well as function and application of database systems for signal switching
• Knowledge of control technology protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, OPC, DNP,...) and the corresponding communication structures
• Very good knowledge of English, ideally good knowledge of German
